The Explorer 2000 v2 fits between the grab-and-go 1kWh units and the 100-pound home batteries. You get 2,042Wh of LiFePO4 storage and 2,200 watts of output, and at 39.5 pounds, one person can still carry it. That's about twice the energy of the Anker C1000 Gen 2, which is the difference between "gets you through the evening" and "gets you through the night and into the next day."
Buy it if you want a portable battery that keeps a fridge, internet, lights and phones going overnight, and that you can also take camping or in the RV.
Skip it if you need 240V, a transfer switch hookup, or fast solar charging. Its solar input tops out at 400W. For home circuits, look at the DELTA Pro 3.

What I Like
2kWh you can actually carry
Jackery says it's 41% lighter and 34% smaller than typical 2kWh power stations, and owners agree it's easy to move alone. Most units this size are 50–60 pounds. This one weighs 39.5.
Enough energy for a real overnight outage
About 2kWh keeps a typical fridge going through the night and the next day. Owners report running fridges for days with careful use, plus fans, dehumidifiers, laptops, and power tools. It handles several loads at once without complaint.
Fast and quiet charging
From the wall, it's full in about 1.75 hours on standard charging. Jackery advertises 80% in about 66 minutes in emergency mode. If you're charging overnight in a bedroom, Silent Charging Mode keeps it around 30 dB and takes about 5 hours.

What I Don't Like
Only 400W of solar input
That's the biggest limitation for multi-day outages. At a full 400W, a recharge takes about 6 hours of good sun, and real-world panels rarely hit their rating. The Anker C1000 Gen 2 takes 600W into a battery half the size.
Only three AC outlets
Three 120V outlets fill up fast. Plan on a power strip for low-draw devices.
Accessories cost extra

Mixed durability and standby reports
